CHED RO XI, in collaboration with the Institute of Information and Communication Technology Planning and Evaluation (IITP) of South Korea, conducted the 10th Test of Practical Competency in IT (TOPCIT).
This nationwide examination participated by 545 senior students from 22 higher education institutions in the Davao Region, aims to assess the IT competency level of students and guide the development of appropriate interventions. A good standing in TOPCIT serves as an additional credential for IT graduates seeking employment, while the performance of students in TOPCIT can inform policymakers in the Philippines about the need to enhance curricular standards for ICT education.
