Region XI Shines in March 2025 Licensure Exam for Teachers with Multiple Topnotchers

The Commission on Higher Education Regional Office XI (CHED RO XI) proudly celebrates the outstanding achievements of teacher education graduates from various institutions across Region XI in the March 2025 Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers (LEPT). The region produced multiple topnotchers in both the Secondary and Elementary levels, demonstrating excellence in teacher education and commitment to quality instruction.

Secondary Level Achievers

At the secondary level, Region XI secured several spots in the Top 10, led by:

Floyd D. Bandalan of UM Tagum College and Leejane P. Cogollodo of UM Panabo College, who both ranked 2nd nationwide.

Jemima Keziah N. Castro from Davao de Oro State College – Main and Irene Fe C. Navea from UM Tagum College, both placed at Rank 3.

Ritchie Ace G. Bitang (UM Tagum College), Mark M. Padilla (Davao del Norte State College), and Jestonie L. Bapilar (Davao del Norte State College) all landed at Rank 5.

Kimwel Boy Abella Cortez of Christian Colleges of Southeast Asia, Dhana Jean Abinasa Latayada from Southern Philippines Baptist Theological Seminary – Puan, Davao City, and Mary Grace A. Ramos of Assumption College of Nabunturan all achieved an impressive Rank 7

Norolshalah M. Guiamalodin from UM Digos College took Rank 8.

Arnel L. Mamac and John Kenneth V. Masagca, both from UM Tagum College, rounded out the list at Rank 9.

Elementary Level Achievers

The elementary level also showcased the exceptional talent of Region XI examinees:

Mary Kathyrene R. Pecasales of the University of Southeastern Philippines – Davao City achieved Rank 5.

Maria Catrina Q. Germo from USeP – Tagum City ranked 6th.

Glenisse Grace L. Buelis of USeP – Davao City placed at Rank 9.

Jamaica Y. Taypin from UM Digos College earned Rank 10.

These exemplary performances not only bring pride to their respective institutions but also reinforce the region’s strong foundation in teacher education. The consistent presence of schools such as the University of Mindanao system, the University of Southeastern Philippines, Davao del Norte State College, and other local institutions in the top ranks highlights the quality of instruction and training in Region XI.
