CHED RO XI Conducts COPC Evaluation for BS in Criminology at Samal Island City College
Samal Island — On June 13, 2025, the Commission on Higher Education Regional Office XI (CHED RO XI) conducted a Certificate of Program Compliance (COPC) evaluation for the Bachelor of Science in Criminology program, alongside the monitoring of student services at Samal Island City College.
The evaluation team was composed of Dr. Ma. Christina B. Condez (Education Supervisor II), Dr. Carmelita Chavez (RQAT Team Member), and Dr. Leomar Jay R. Oblianda (Education Supervisor II). They were warmly welcomed by College President Dr. Jose Ersante M. Fuertes, together with administrators, faculty, and staff of the institution.
The activity forms part of CHED’s ongoing efforts to enable higher education institutions to provide quality programs and services to their students, ensuring conformity with minimum standards and guidelines.
