CHED RO XI Holds Online Consultation with Davao Region HEIs on the Adjustment of AY 2025–2026
Davao City- On June 23, 2025, the Commission on Higher Education Regional Office XI (CHED RO XI) conducted an Online Consultation with Davao Region Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) to discuss the proposed adjustment of Academic Year 2025–2026.
Held via Zoom, the consultation was led by Regional Director Dr. Maricar R. Casquejo, CESO III, and attended by HEI administrators in Davao Region. Dr. Christopher Pio O. Pulido, Supervising Education Program Specialist, presented the results of the regional survey conducted on the proposed academic calendar shift.
Participants engaged in an open forum, raising relevant concerns and insights in response to CHED’s strategic directions. The consultation concluded with a synthesis and message of support from Dr. Luis D. Perez, Chief Education Program Specialist of CHED RO XI.
The activity reinforced CHED RO XI’s commitment to inclusive dialogue and shared decision-making in shaping policies responsive to the needs of HEIs and learners in the region.
