Ms. Joy M. Barillo Takes Oath as New Education Program Specialist of CHED RO XI
The Commission on Higher Education Regional Office XI (CHED RO XI) proudly welcomes Ms. Joy M. Barillo, MPA, as its newly appointed Education Program Specialist (EPS). She officially took her Oath of Office on July 14, 2025, in a ceremony administered by CHED RO XI Regional Director Dr. Maricar R. Casquejo, and witnessed by members of the CHED RO XI family.
Ms. Barillo began her journey with CHED RO XI on February 5, 2014, as an Administrative Aide VI, later rising to the position of Administrative Officer III. Her appointment as EPS marks a significant milestone in her more than a decade of dedicated public service.
Her promotion reflects the agency’s recognition of her unwavering commitment, professionalism, and institutional knowledge—qualities that are expected to contribute greatly to CHED RO XI’s continuous efforts in advancing higher education in the region.
As she embraces this new role, Ms. Barillo is poised to play a key part in strengthening the office’s programs and services for the benefit of higher education institutions across Davao Region.
