CHED RO XI Celebrates 125th Civil Service Anniversary with Fun Day
In celebration of the 125th Philippine Civil Service Anniversary, the Commission on Higher Education Regional Office XI (CHED RO XI), together with its Gender and Development Team, organized a mental health and wellness activity titled “Cheer and Chill: CHED RO XI Fun Day.” The event was held on September 19, 2025, from 1:00 to 5:00 PM at the Davao Riverfront Crocodile Park and Zoo.
The activity began with a short briefing on a seven-station journey, where each team was tasked to complete specific challenges at every station. Upon completing a station, the team moved to the next until all seven stations were accomplished. For every completed task, teams were awarded a flag, which when combined, formed the seven colors of the rainbow—a symbolic representation of teamwork, unity, and collaboration.
The Fun Day brought together CHED RO XI personnel for an afternoon of games, laughter, and team-building exercises, promoting holistic wellness by nurturing physical, mental, and emotional well-being. Beyond recreation, the event strengthened camaraderie and work-life balance, highlighting the importance of resilience and positive engagement in the workplace.
As the day concluded, the smiles and shared experiences of the participants reflected the office’s enduring spirit of service and the commitment to employee well-being, making the milestone celebration both meaningful and memorable.
