Virtual Orientation on CHED Scholarship ONSE Dashboard

Davao City— In line with Republic Act No. 7722, or the Higher Education Act of 1994, the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) conducted a Virtual Orientation on the CHED Scholarship ONSE Dashboard and Orientation Portal on January 22, 2025, via Zoom.

The activity gathered Scholarship Coordinators from various higher education institutions (HEIs) to ensure a shared understanding of the system’s features, functions, and processes. The orientation served as a platform to align stakeholders on the proper use of the ONSE Dashboard in managing scholarship-related data and transactions.

Key discussions focused on the utilization of the ONSE Dashboard for efficient validation and billing processes, emphasizing accuracy, transparency, and timeliness in handling scholarship records. The orientation also introduced the Orientation Portal as a support tool to guide users in navigating the system and complying with required procedures.

Through this initiative, CHED aims to strengthen the implementation of Student Financial Assistance Programs by equipping HEIs with the necessary tools and knowledge to improve operational efficiency and accountability.

The activity underscores CHED’s continued commitment to enhancing digital systems and ensuring that scholarship programs are delivered effectively, ultimately benefiting student-grantees across the country.
