The Commission on Higher Education Regional Office XI (CHED RO XI) family gathered in solemn unity meaning and remembrance to honor and bid farewell to one of its dedicated colleagues, Bernardo Luis R. Alejandro, Jr., through a Necrological Service conducted in his honor.
The Necrological Service was held on January 24 at St. Peter’s Chapels Panacan, attended by his family, friends, and members of the higher education institutions (HEIs) community. During the service, the Office commemorated the life and service of Sir Bernardo, whose quiet dedication, wisdom, and steadfast commitment to quality higher education left a lasting mark on the region. Colleagues fondly remembered him not only as an Education Supervisor but also as a dependable mentor and a calm, reassuring presence in the workplace.
Sir Bernie was laid to rest on January 25 at Forest Lake Maa. As CHED RO XI mourns his passing, the Office also honors his legacy of service, professionalism, and compassion—values that will continue to inspire the higher education community he faithfully served.
