Davao City— The Commission on Higher Education Regional Office XI (CHED RO XI), in partnership with SeeMeSOL, successfully conducted the Presidential Briefing and Information Session on the Platform for Graduate Employability and Alumni Tracer Studies on February 2, 2026, at the Lyceum of the Philippines University–Davao.

The activity forms part of CHED’s implementation of the Enabler E of the A.C.H.I.E.V.E. Agenda, which focuses on expanding and integrating real-time data collection and analytics. Through this initiative, CHED continues to strengthen evidence-based governance and enhance the quality and responsiveness of higher education institutions (HEIs).

The event featured key speakers who provided insights on policy direction, innovation, and digital transformation in higher education. CHED RO XI Regional Director Dr. Maricar R. Casquejo delivered the policy direction, emphasizing the importance of data-driven decision-making. Mr. David Padgett, Founder and Chairman of SeeMeSOL, shared keynote insights on global practices in graduate employability, while Mr. Edsel Martinez, SeeMeSOL Career Services Senior Consultant, presented AI-enabled career services and real-time tracer study analytics.

A major highlight of the activity was the ceremonial signing of the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA), where around fifty (50) higher education institutions committed to adopting the SeeMeSOL platform. This partnership aims to strengthen graduate employability tracking, improve alumni engagement, and support data-driven planning and policy formulation in the Davao Region.

The session also outlined key agenda items, including building a workforce-ready Region XI through a free digital portal, enhancing employability metrics for accreditation and quality assurance, implementing CHED-mandated alumni tracer studies, expanding industry partnerships through virtual and hybrid career fairs, and showcasing successful graduate employability models across Philippine HEIs.

With strong participation from HEI leaders and stakeholders, the initiative marks a significant step toward aligning education outcomes with industry needs and ensuring that graduates are equipped with relevant skills for the evolving labor market.
