MESSAGE OF SUPPORT

The Commission on Higher Education Region XI stands in solidarity with the Department of Health (DOH) in the implementation of the Measles- Rubella Supplemental Immunization Activity (MR SIA) from January 19 to February 13, 2026 for children aged 6 months to 59 months. The statistics are clear: measles and rubella remain significant threats to our communities. This supplemental campaign is a vital public health intervention aimed at addressing immunity gaps, interrupting the transmission of the measles virus, and preventing avoidable illness and death among young children who will eventually walk through the halls of our institutions
