Davao City— The Commission on Higher Education Regional Office XI (CHED RO XI), led by Regional Director Dr. Maricar R. Casquejo, conducted a courtesy visit to Land Bank of the Philippines Davao Branch to strengthen collaboration in facilitating faster and more efficient release of financial assistance to scholars and grantees.
During the meeting, CHED RO XI engaged with Landbank Davao Branch Head, AVP Raquel U. Dela Cerna, to discuss streamlined processes in assisting CHED scholars and beneficiaries in opening bank accounts. This initiative is seen as a key step toward improving the delivery of financial support services.
The partnership aims to expedite the release of stipends and other financial benefits to approximately 38,000 scholars and grantees under various CHED scholarship and student financial assistance programs. It also seeks to enhance the efficiency, transparency, and accessibility of fund disbursement mechanisms.
Through this strengthened collaboration, CHED RO XI reaffirms its commitment to ensuring that financial assistance reaches its beneficiaries in a timely and seamless manner, ultimately supporting students in pursuing and completing their higher education.
