Region XI HEIs Showcase Innovations at CHED RAISE Exhibit
Iloilo City— Three Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) from Region XI proudly showcased their innovations during the CHED RAISE (Responding through AI for Societal Empowerment) Exhibit, highlighting the Davao Region’s contributions to emerging technologies and academic innovation in higher education.
The participating institutions — University of the Immaculate Conception (UIC), University of Southeastern Philippines (USeP), and Davao del Sur State College (DSSC) — presented their flagship programs, research outputs, and best practices that demonstrate the integration of artificial intelligence, digital transformation, and industry-aligned education.
The exhibit formed part of the CHED RAISE 2026 national summit, which gathered higher education leaders, policymakers, and industry partners to promote innovation, collaboration, and the responsible use of artificial intelligence in education. Participating HEIs from across the country showcased cutting-edge initiatives aimed at enhancing teaching, learning, research, and community engagement.
The Region XI delegation highlighted initiatives on smart learning systems, AI-enabled platforms, and technology-driven solutions that support graduate employability, institutional efficiency, and inclusive education.
