CHED RO XI Participates in International Women’s Day Early Morning March

Davao City— The Commission on Higher Education Regional Office XI (CHED RO XI) actively participated in the International Women’s Day Early Morning March/Parade held on March 6, 2026 at Freedom Park, Davao City.

Organized by the City Government of Davao through its Integrated Gender and Development (GAD) Division, the activity formed part of the 116th International Women’s Month Celebration, bringing together various sectors in a unified call for gender equality and women’s empowerment.

CHED RO XI personnel, alongside representatives from several higher education institutions (HEIs) in the Davao Region, joined participants from national government agencies, local government units, civil society organizations, and the private sector in the parade. The activity served as a platform to demonstrate solidarity and reaffirm commitment to promoting inclusive and gender-responsive programs.

Through its participation, CHED RO XI underscores its continued support for gender and development initiatives, advocating for equal opportunities, inclusive education, and the empowerment of women across the higher education sector and beyond.
