CHED RO XI Conducts Re-Orientation on ProMES Portal System
Davao City — The Commission on Higher Education Regional Office XI (CHED RO XI) conducted a Re-Orientation on the ProMES Portal System on May 12, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. via Zoom Meeting. The activity was organized to strengthen the understanding and capacity of higher education institutions (HEIs) in utilizing the online system for the submission, monitoring, and processing of program applications.
The virtual re-orientation was attended by HEIs with existing applications for Certificate of Program Compliance (COPC) and Government Permit. The activity provided participants with updated guidance and clarifications on the proper use and navigation of the ProMES Portal System, particularly on the submission of applications and documentary requirements, monitoring of application status, and compliance with prescribed procedures.
CHED RO XI Education Supervisors facilitated the discussions and provided technical guidance on the application process. They addressed questions and concerns raised by participating HEIs, particularly those relating to portal navigation, submission of documentary requirements, and the proper processing and monitoring of program applications through the system.
The activity emphasized the importance of accurate, complete, and timely submission of documentary requirements through the ProMES Portal System. The re-orientation also sought to promote a common understanding among HEIs and CHED RO XI personnel on the use of the portal, thereby minimizing procedural concerns and facilitating a more efficient processing of COPC and Government Permit applications.
Through the re-orientation, CHED RO XI reaffirmed its commitment to providing responsive technical assistance and strengthening digital processes in the regulation and quality assurance of higher education programs. The initiative supports the Regional Office’s continuing efforts to promote efficient, transparent, and accessible services for higher education institutions in the Davao Region.
