UNIFAST Executive Director Atty. Ryan Estevez with Congresswoman Maricar Zamora, MNSA grace the distribution of TDP and SMART Grants to deserving students of Davao de Oro Province held in the Municipal Dome, Monkayo, Davao de Oro.
The Tulong Dunong Program under the Tertiary Education Subsidy (TDP-TES) is intended for the qualified ongoing and new TDP grantees enrolled in CHED-recognized programs of Private Higher Education Institutions, State Universities and Colleges or CHED-recognized Local Universities and Colleges. Student-grantees are entitled to a maximum of Php 15,000 grant per Academic Year.
The SMART Grant program provides a one-time fixed grant of Php 25,000 to qualified students enrolled in any undergraduate program for Academic Year 2023-2024, as one of the strategies under the National Employment Recovery Strategy to increase students’ success to graduate through scholarship, despite the effects of the pandemic.
