The Maritime Industry Authority (MARINA) Region XI Director, Ms. Felisa Orongan, and her team paid a courtesy visit to CHED RO XI on July 12, 2024. Dr. Maricar R. Casquejo, CESO III, Cesar A. Adegue IV, CESE, and Mr. Jason I. Oraiz welcomed them in the CHED RO XI Conference Room.

Director Orongan presented maritime concerns for possible collaboration to ensure the integrity of documents submitted by maritime students and MHEIs. Both agencies agreed to formalize the request for document validation for BSMT and BSMarE degrees.
