CHED RO XI Conducts Ocular Inspection at UM Panabo College for BS Criminology Program Permit

Panabo City, May 27, 2025 — The Commission on Higher Education Regional Office XI (CHED RO XI) carried out an ocular inspection at UM Panabo College as part of its evaluation for the issuance of a permit to offer the Bachelor of Science in Criminology program.

The evaluation team was composed of CHED Education Supervisors Dr. Ma. Christina B. Condez and Dr. Leomar Jay R. Oblianda. The team was warmly welcomed by School Director Dr. Celso L. Tagadiad, along with faculty and staff members of UM Panabo College.

During the visit, Dr. Condez thoroughly inspected the facilities dedicated to the BS Criminology program, ensuring that physical resources and learning environments met CHED’s quality standards. Meanwhile, Dr. Oblianda evaluated the student services programs, particularly those highlighted in CHED Memorandum Order (CMO) No. 9, Series of 2013, which emphasizes the importance of comprehensive support services for students.
