DAASI Holds 2nd Quarterly Meeting at  Panabo City, Champions Environmental Stewardship

Panabo City– The Deans Association of Agricultural Schools Inc. (DAASI) successfully conducted its 2nd Quarterly Meeting on July 11, 2025, hosted by ACES Polytechnic College Inc. at Tadeco Road, Panabo City, Davao del Norte. The event gathered 35 deans and program heads representing 19 Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) offering Agriculture and related programs across the Davao Region.

Dr. Francisco P. Dela Peña, Jr., CEO/President of ACES Polytechnic College Inc. (APCI), warmly welcomed the participants and expressed appreciation for DAASI’s continuous efforts to advance agricultural education in the region. Also present was Dr. Cesar Limbaga, Vice Chancellor of the University of Southeastern Philippines (USEP), who joined the discussions and activities during the meeting.

 

One of the highlights of the event was a symbolic tree-planting activity led by CHED Regional Office XI Education Supervisor, Dr. Lourdes D. Cesar. The activity emphasized DAASI’s enduring commitment to environmental sustainability and served as a legacy initiative in support of nurturing greener and more resilient communities.

Through collaborative engagements and meaningful advocacies, DAASI continues to play a vital role in shaping the future of agricultural education and environmental awareness in the region.
