The Commission on Higher Education Regional Office (CHED RO) XI Regional Director Dr. Maricar R. Casquejo presided over the Davao Region SUCs Preparation of FY 2023 RDC XI Budget Review and Consultation last February 15, 2022 at the Board Room, Administration Bldg., Davao Oriental State University (DOrSU), Mati City, Davao Oriental.

In attendance during the meeting were the Presidents from the State Universities and Colleges (SUCs) in Dava Region such as Davao Oriental State University (DORSU) President Dr. Roy G. Ponce, Davao del Norte State College (DNSC) President Dr. Joy M. Sorrosa, Davao de Oro State College (DdOSC) President Dr. Christie Jean Villanueva-Ganiera, CESE, Davao del Sur State College (DSSC) President Dr. Augie E. Fuentes, University of Southeastern Philippines (USeP) President Dr. Lourdes C. Generalao represented by Vice-President for Administration Dr. Ma. Luisa B. Faunillan, and Southern Philippines Agri-Business and Marine and Aquatic School of Technology (SPAMAST) President Dr. Ruth S. Lucero.

The SUCs Presidents presented their FY 2023 Budget Proposal in preparation to the RDC XI Budget Review and Consultation scheduled on February 18, 2022, via Zoom Video conferencing.

Per National Budget Memorandum No. 142 dated January 2022, CHED is mandated to vet and endorse the SUCs proposals with specific concerns.

RD Casquejo was accompanied by Dr. Luis D. Perez, Chief Education Program Specialist, Dr. Christopher Pio O. Pulido, Supervising Education Program Specialist, and Dr. Lourdes D. Cesar, Education Supervisor II.
