To provide guidance and support to the State Universities and Colleges (SUCs) in Mindanao in crafting effective project proposals related to Digital Transformation (DX) initiatives for CHED and other partner agency/ies funding opportunities, a Hybrid-Workshop on DX Project Proposals was conducted wherein SUCs’ DX Focals have engaged in productive discussions and received meaningful inputs from AFMS and HEDF Director, Dr. Rogelio T. Galera, CESE.
SUCs in Davao Region attended the activity onsite/face-to-face at CHED RO XI Function Hall, Loyola St., Davao City, while SUCs in Regions IX, X, XII, CARAGA and BARMM together with the Education Supervisors in ITE Programs have joined online via Zoom Videoconferencing Platform.
This activity is in relation to the project titled “Baseline Data on Digital Transformation (DX) of Higher Education Institutions: Mindanao SUCs”, which have already accomplished the following: 1. developed conceptual framework of digital transformation for HEIs; 2. created and validated an assessment tool for the digital transformation of SUCs in Mindanao; 3. rolled out the assessment tool to SUCs in Mindanao; and 4. developed baseline data towards digital transformation of SUCs.
The conduct of Writeshop for SUCs in Mindanao for them to submit proposals for funding based on the baseline DX Data is the culminating activity to realize the final objective of the said Project.
The activity is organized by CHED RO XI.
