CHED RO XI Welcomes nACPAE Board of Trustees in Courtesy Visit to Strengthen Accountancy Education
Davao City- The Commission on Higher Education Regional Office XI (CHED RO XI) had the honor of receiving the Board of Trustees of the National Association of Certified Public Accountants in Education (nACPAE) for a courtesy visit on July 11, 2025. The engagement served as a meaningful platform for both parties to discuss shared advocacies in advancing the quality of accountancy education in the country and to explore areas for collaboration aligned with CHED’s strategic priorities.
Representing CHED RO XI Regional Director Dr. Maricar R. Casquejo, Supervising Education Program Specialist Dr. Christopher Pio O. Pulido welcomed the nACPAE delegation. In his remarks, Dr. Pulido acknowledged the association’s continued efforts to uphold academic and professional excellence in the field of accountancy. He also expressed appreciation for their commitment to working closely with educational institutions and regulatory bodies.
During the meeting, the nACPAE Board shared updates on their ongoing strategic planning activities and presented proposed initiatives that support the continuous professional development of accountancy educators. One of the key highlights discussed was the upcoming 33rd Accounting Teachers’ Conference, which will be hosted in Davao City in 2026, marking another significant milestone for the association and the region.
CHED RO XI reaffirmed its commitment to supporting professional organizations like nACPAE in fostering academic excellence, promoting capacity-building, and encouraging collaborative engagement across the higher education sector.
