Thirty-five deans and graduate school professors coming from 14 higher education institutions in Region XI attended the Training-Workshop on Coursepack Development for Graduate Education sponsored by the Philippine Association for Graduate Education (PAGE) XI and the Council of Deans for Graduate Education (CODGE) XI held at Acacia Hotel, Bajada Davao City last June 09, 2022.
Dr. Bonifacio G. Gabales, Vice President for Academic Affairs and Dr. Tamara Cher R. Mercado, Vice President for Planning and Quality Assurance from the University of Southeastern Philippines were the facilitators.
Dr. Gabales facilitated the making of the coursepacks while Dr. Tamar presented a sample interactive coursepack using various online platforms.
In her opening remarks, Dr. Lourdes C. Cabintoy, PAGE President, expressed her desire for all graduate schools in Region XI to have coursepacks as a needed learning material, especially for graduate school students.
Dr. Ronald S. Decano, the coordinator of the Workshop, explained the importance of the workshop. He said, “The association needs to sustain this noble undertaking to make a difference in the graduate education in the region.”
